Culinary weeks in Autumn

The breathtakingly beautiful South Tyrolean autumn countryside guarantees moments of relaxation and culinary pleasure in nature at its very best. On a guided hike on the Alpe di Siusi you hear all the tales of the autumn traditions, sagas and legends of local lore. In a traditional hut you prepare and taste mouth-watering buckwheat dishes during a cooking workshop. On Thursday you bake traditional bread together with a baker. You learn how Schüttelbrot (flat rye bread) got its name, and the right way to shape the "Vinschgerlen". At the end, you take home your own homemade Schüttelbrot and hand-shaped Vingscher Paarl (pair-bread).
