Mental strength, from forest and roots

Tuesday, 10 and 17 September 2019, 1 and 15 October 2019
2 - 6 p.m.

Just like plants absorb the nutrients they need for winter through their roots, us humans stock up on our energy resources through the warming rays of the sun. At the Karlotten hill, a power-site in Siusi allo Sciliar, Monika will show you how to get your energy levels up before winter with the help of "forest bathing". You will learn a wealth of information about the dandelion and how to make salt from its roots. Nearby, Elias lives a self-sufficient life at his farm, the Furscher. He will be telling us about how nature and the seasons affect his life and the steps involved in making his own food, for the very beginning right through to the final product.

The magic of the morning - exercise in the autumn countryside and a healthy alkaline picnic breakfast

Thursday, 12 and 19 September, 3 and 17 October 2019
6.30 - 10 a.m.

Early in the morning, we take the Marinzen chairlift to the Alpine pasture of the same name, located high above Castelrotto. The breath-taking, sweeping landscape is the perfect place to recharge your batteries, especially in the morning sun. Surrounded by larch trees - the trees of light and grounding - we recharge our energy through breathing exercises. During the following retreat ritual, we store the energy of this power site within us, building up the strength to help us get through winter and enhance our stamina. To round off, we feast on a healthy alkaline-based breakfast at the picturesque lake and gather a series of tips and breakfast ideas to use at home.

FIT-WALKING

Saturday, 14, 21 and 28 September, 5, 12, 19 and 26 Octorber 2019
2 - 4 p.m.

Fit-Walking is stamina hiking, health training, stress-relief and health exercise in the open air, all in one. Beginning with a power-walk from the set off in Weislahnbad in Tires, we decelerate to a slow walk speed as we approach the Wuhnleger lake, with the Catinaccio reflected in its waters, and then take a loop-route back to Tires. When we move both our arms and legs while walking, numerous muscles are brought into play; breathing becomes deeper, blood circulation improves and oxygen supply increases. The aims of this technique are, above all, to banish stress, bond with the earth and nature, find inner peace and breathe properly.
